  1. Noon Years Eve – Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

If you’re looking for a family-friendly activity to get your New Year’s festivities started earlier than usual, Noon Years Eve at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is the right choice for you – the event starts at 10 AM and features your traditional zoo activities alongside roaming characters, a special dance party, and of course, a “Noon” Years Eve Countdown to 12 PM.

  1. New Years Eve with the Cleveland Pops

For a slightly fancier outing, find your way to the Cleveland Pops Legends of Rock-and-Roll New Year’s Eve Celebration. The famous orchestra will play a two-hour concert from 9 PM to 11 PM. The famous orchestra will play a 2-hour concert from 9 PM – 11 PM featuring songs from Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Richard Harris, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Simon & Garfunkel, & more!

After the formal show, there’s an after-party that features two live bands, dancing, and a balloon drop. There’s no open bar, but wine and spirits are available. Festivities last until 1 AM.

  1. Pickwick & Frolic’s New Year’s Eve Party Package

Pickwick & Frolic’s on E 4th Street has quite the variety of packages – 5 to be exact – ranging from $20 – $130.  Your options include a comedy show featuring Pat McGann, a Viva Las Vegas cabaret performance, live music and dancing with Tony Quarles or the Discovery Band with a buffet dinner, party favors, a balloon drop and a sparkling toast at midnight.

The variety of options makes this the perfect event for a choosier partygoer.

  1. A Great Gatsby New Year’s Eve at 2nd & High Social House

For a throwback experience, head to 2nd & High Social House for a Great Gatsby-themed party. Beginning at 9 PM, your ticket will buy you live music along with free beer and wine, finger food, and a champagne toast all while live music is played.

The real gem will be the costume contest where the winner will be announced out at the end of the night (what you win, we don’t know). If you’re looking for some privacy, there are private table packages included as well as bottle service. The event runs until 2 AM.

  1. Brew Year’s Eve at Great Lakes Brewing Company

Cleveland landmark Great Lakes Brewing Company is doing it big for the start of 2018 – starting at 6:45 PM. A VIP ticket for $90 gets you reserved seating from 7-9 PM, a full dinner buffet, four drink tickets for beer or wine, and most importantly, a midnight toast with beer specifically brewed for New Years.

A more limited package is also available for $75 that still features drink tickets and the midnight toast, though you’ll need to prepare for standing room only for that portion of the night.

Great Lakes will have their beer garden decked out for drinks and dancing with a DJ, photo booth and party favors.
