Enjoy the Changing Seasons

Take in the breathtaking fall colors with a trip to the Metroparks. Whether you choose a hike with a Metroparks naturalist or with a friend, the Parks District has plenty of paths and even access to see the beauty from the comfort of your car. There are three options for a driving tour: the Valley Parkway, Chagrin River Road, or Hawthorn Parkway.

For a more up close and personal peak of the colorful fall leaves, the Acacia Reservation is a wonderful spot as the grasses also change to tan and gold.

The Bedford Reservation has two locations to see spectacular views. The first is Tinker’s Creek Scenic Overlook and Gorge. The second is the Little Overlook. Both are accessible from I-271.

Head over to the Brecksville Reservation this September in Cleveland and soak up the scenery at Chippewa Creek Gorge and Scenic Overlook.

Hinckley Reservation’s Hinckley Lake Overlooks give you the best of both worlds with a lovely view of not only the majestic trees but the soothing water.

For something more regal, check out Squire Castle, surrounded by the beauty of nature, this autumn. You can find it on River Road in Willoughby Hills.

From the thrills and sounds in the sky and tasty regional cuisine to film and arts festivals, it will be hard to choose a favorite September Cleveland event. But it will be sure fun to try! After all, it is hard to beat grabbing a sweater and enjoying the day in the fall sunshine.
